ABOUT THE COMPANY.
We are currently seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Officers for a range of opportunities across multiple Local Sydney Councils. These positions support busy finance teams across various Council environments, offering opportunities for experienced AR professionals to utilise their skills within Local Government.
Assignments may vary across Council environments and can provide exposure to a range of finance functions, systems and processes.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Officers to support Council finance teams across a range of temporary and permanent opportunities. Depending on the assignment, you may be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, reconciliations, debt recovery and providing financial support to internal and external stakeholders.
DUTIES.
- Manage AR ledgers, reconciliations and payment allocations
- Conduct debtor follow-ups and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate accounts and financial records
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Support project billing and progress claims where required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AR processes
- Experience with finance or accounting systems - Tech One, Civica/Authority, XERO, SAP or similar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Successful candidates may be required to undergo a Police Check

REMUNERATIONS & BENEFITS.
- $35–$45 per hour + Super
