ABOUT THE ROLE.
This is an initial 2–4 month contract within a Northern Sydney Council facility, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent role. The role requires flexibility to work across varying operational hours, ensuring the smooth delivery of centre activities and community programs.
As the Centre Manager, you will work alongside an established team of Leisure and Facility Management professionals, collaborating with retailers, Council departments, and external contractors to oversee the smooth delivery of maintenance, events, and day-to-day operations.
DUTIES.
- Deliver and track strategic and operational plans to drive centre performance
- Lead daily gym and hall operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets and resources to achieve financial and service goals
- Guide and develop staff, building a motivated, high-performing team
- Drive key projects and redevelopments, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Proven experience in centre, leisure, or aquatic facility management roles
- General trades knowledge or hands-on maintenance experience highly regarded
- Strong technology and systems proficiency essential for daily operations

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS.
- $70 - $80 p/h + Superannuation (negotiable)
