ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will manage projects from early planning and feasibility through to design development, procurement, construction and handover. Working within the City Delivery team, you will lead the design management process, coordinate consultants, manage stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, timeframe and quality expectations.
DUTIES.
- Take ownership of projects from early planning and design through to construction and completion
- Coordinate project requirements including budgets, timelines, risks and quality expectations
- Prepare project updates and documentation while building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and internal teams to keep projects moving forward
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree qualification in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects across the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of procurement, tendering, contract administration and consultant management
- Project exposure across community, civic, cultural, sporting or public domain projects
