ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an Asset Program Analyst to support the delivery of Council’s prioritised asset renewal, improvement, and maintenance programs.
Reporting to the Asset Planning Team Leader, you will provide technical expertise and analytical support to ensure accurate asset data, program reporting, and effective implementation of asset management plans. You will also assist in flood risk management initiatives across the LGA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update Council’s corporate asset management system and asset registers.
- Support the planning, delivery, and reporting of asset renewal, improvement, and maintenance programs.
- Conduct data and spatial analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of asset management plans in line with Council strategies.
- Support flood risk management initiatives and related reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure asset planning aligns with Council priorities.
- Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Planning, or a related field.
- Experience in asset management, program reporting, or infrastructure planning within local government or similar environments.
- Proficient in GIS, corporate asset systems, and Excel-based reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
