ABOUT THE POSITON.
  
We are seeking a self-driven Associate Civil Engineer to lead the planning and delivery of major, civil projects from concept to completion.  In this role, you will apply your technical expertise while managing project quality, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful outcomes. You will also prepare fee proposals and support business development through direct client engagement.
  
DUTIES.
  • Lead the design of stormwater drainage systems, water sensitive urban design (WSUD), and on-site detention (OSD) solutions
  • Manage contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards and regulations
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues expertly
  • Mentor and support a team of civil engineers
  • Prepare and review quality management and construction documentation
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and risk management

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar field
  • Proven previous civil engineering experience
  • Proficient in MUSIC, DRAINS, HECRAS, TUFLOW, Civil 3D, 12D or similar design software
  • Demonstrated ability in business development, including client engagement, proposals preparation, and securing new projects
