ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of mechanical building services projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept through to completion. You will provide technical leadership, drive successful project outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of the mechanical division. This role will see you lead project teams, mentor engineers, strengthen technical capability, build strong client relationships and support broader business development initiatives.
DUTIES.
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities to support business growth
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Contribute to fee proposals, project planning, resource management and strategic initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and professional development support to engineers
- Drive quality assurance, technical standards and continuous improvement across project delivery
- Support team performance and capability development to strengthen the mechanical division
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- CPEng accreditation and Design Building Practitioner (DBP) registration
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing engineering teams
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian standards
