ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of hydraulic & fire engineers, ensuring high-quality project delivery and technical excellence. You will provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and support to the team. A key component of the role involves maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, responsive service, and continued trust in the consultancy’s capability. This is a leadership opportunity within a respected engineering practice, contributing to the success of diverse, high-profile projects.
DUTIES.
- Lead the detailed design and documentation of hydraulic and fire protection systems
- Manage day-to-day engineering assignments to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and professional support
- Maintain strong client relationships, while identifying opportunities for business growth
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Diploma in Hydraulic Services or equivalent
- Design Building Practitioner accreditation
- Effective project management skills, excellent communication and strong leadership skills
- Extensive building services project experience across a diverse portfolio
