ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a committed Associate Structural Engineer to join an established and growing team, taking the lead on a variety of structural engineering projects while managing and mentoring junior engineers. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, architects, and builders, contribute to business development initiatives, and oversee multiple residential, mixed-use, commercial, and other complex developments from concept to delivery. DUTIES.
- Lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects
- Coordinate closely with clients, architects, builders, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of all building elements
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while preparing efficient, accurate, and competitive fee proposals
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in structural engineering within a reputable consulting firm
- Passionate about leading structural engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers
- CPEng accreditation is highly regarded, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development and client relationship management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders and projects teams.
