A well-established commercial construction company with a strong presence across Canberra is looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their growing team. About the Position.
As a Bid Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the business through the tender and pre-construction process. Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, project teams and senior stakeholders, you'll coordinate submissions, research opportunities and help ensure tenders are delivered to a high standard and within deadline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in bids, marketing or pre-construction, with plenty of exposure to major commercial projects and experienced industry professionals.
Duties.
- Coordinate tender and EOI submissions from start to finish
- Develop and manage bid action plans and submission timelines
- Research clients, projects and upcoming opportunities
- Draft and edit executive summaries and tender content
- Maintain company capability statements, project profiles and bid documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve the bid process and quality of submissions
- Work closely with internal teams to gather project and company information
- Assist with marketing and business development initiatives as required
- Experience in bid coordination, graphic design, communications or a similar role
- Strong written communication and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confident working with a range of internal stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Construction industry experience is preferred but not essential
