ABOUT THE POSITION.
This opportunity is ideal for a proposal writer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll play a critical role in managing and delivering high-quality proposals, tenders, and capability statements, ensuring submissions are compliant, compelling, and on time.
Working closely with the leadership team and subject matter experts, you’ll be responsible for analysing RFPs, RFTs, and other solicitation documents to determine requirements and develop winning response strategies. You’ll also manage and maintain a library of standard content, contribute to process improvements, and assist with CRM updates.
DUTIES.
- Analyse tender documents to determine response requirements and strategy
- Write, edit, and format proposal content in a clear, compliant, and engaging manner
- Ensure proposals are well-organised, compliant, and delivered on time
- Proofread and finalise all submissions prior to delivery
- Maintain and update a central content library of standard responses, resumes, case studies, and capability statements
- Ensure consistency of style, tone, and formatting across all submissions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Update Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, status, and follow-ups
- Provide administrative and project support as required
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in proposal writing, tender coordination, marketing, or a similar role
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint essential); Canva or publishing tool experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple submissions
- Salesforce experience (preferred but not essential)
- A proactive, adaptable team player with strong initiative and attention to detail
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship / Permanent Residency required
