ABOUT THE POSITION.
As the Services Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing all building services across projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager, site team, consultants, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure services are effectively coordinated, programmed and delivered to a high standard.
You will be responsible for managing services across projects while identifying and resolving design, coordination and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.
DUTIES.
- Manage and coordinate all building services across projects
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and other specialist services
- Manage services subcontractors and consultants
- Review services documentation, drawings and specifications
- Identify and resolve design and coordination issues
- Attend design and services coordination meetings
- Manage services procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Monitor services programming and project milestones
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Assist with cost control and commercial management of services packages
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Building, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline is preferable
- Proven experience as a Services Manager, Services Coordinator or similar within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of building services and services coordination
- Proven experience working across commercial construction, fitout or refurbishment projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
