ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Civil Engineer, you will apply your expertise with key design software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, Civil3D, and AutoCAD to work on a variety of projects. These include stormwater management, on-site detention systems, road design, and pavement projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient project delivery from start to finish.
DUTIES.
- Design and model systems for stormwater management, drainage, water quality, and water-sensitive urban design
- Conduct site assessments, attend design reviews, and participate in project meetings
- Utilize Civil3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAINS, and MUSIC in daily tasks for design and analysis
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to meet project requirements and timelines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or currently working towards accreditation is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for effective client and team collaboration
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design or a related role
