ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of urban development, subdivision and land development projects, utilizing your skills in drainage, stormwater management, and urban design to provide practical, sustainable solutions. Your experience with software such as 12D, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, and AutoCAD will be crucial to the success of the projects you work on.
DUTIES.
- Design and manage subdivision and land development projects, focusing on stormwater, drainage, OSD, water quality, and water-sensitive urban design
- Attend site inspections, project meetings, and design reviews to ensure successful project outcomes
- Utilize software such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, and AutoCAD and 12D for project design and delivery
- Mentor and guide Junior Engineers, assisting in their professional development
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in subdivision and land development, ideally within the Sydney region
- CPEng accreditation or in the process of obtaining is highly desirable
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAINS, MUSIC, and 12D
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders
