ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join a growing, Sydney-based team, supporting tender submissions, preparing and managing quality and construction plans, developing designs and drawings, and contributing innovative engineering solutions. The role will also involve carrying out site inspections to ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance are met. This role offers valuable experience and exposure to land development, residential and commercial subdivisions, and other specialised projects.
DUTIES.
- Plan and manage complex projects from concept to delivery
- Develop and interpret detailed designs, drawings, and innovative construction methods
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders
- Design stormwater, drainage, flood modelling, water sensitive urban design (WSUD), and on-site detention (OSD)
- Support tender processes and carry out site inspections for safety and compliance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar
- Proficient in MUSIC, DRAINS, CIVIL 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW or similar software
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulatory requirements
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
