ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the control and supervision of labour staff, contractors, scheduling annual improvement programs, maintain cost control, and liaise with external stakeholders across 42 suburbs. Projects including footpaths, drainage, roads and asphalt.
DUTIES.
- Assist in managing Council's Civil Asset Maintenance
- Provide accurate pre-construction estimates
- Initiate improvements and upgrade work procedures
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications
- Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
- High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
