ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join our Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Your team is responsible for the efficient delivery of cleansing services to the Local Government Area. Your role reports into the Cleansing Team Leader.
Please be advised that you will be expected to commit to a rotating roster based on operational needs. Due to the nature of this position and required hours, we can only consider candidates with a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
An initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent employment. Your role as a Cleansing Supervisor requires your flexibility to act as an All-Rounder for the team. You supervisory duties include the rostering of staff, scheduling/raising of work orders, site inspections, complaints resolution, customer service & internal team management.
All successful candidates will undergo a National Police Check & Medical Check.
DUTIES.
- Work hours can vary between 1:30AM to 9:00PM + weekends
- Supervisory duties of managing a team of casual, part-time & full-time street cleansing operators
- Assist the team in hands-on street cleansing responsibilities
- Rostering of staff shifts
- Scheduling and managing work orders
- Customer service to the members of the community
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous Council experience and proficiency with TechOne
- Minimum Leading Hand experience - Supervisor, TL or Coordinator experience is highly regarded
- Manual MR License
- Fitness capability to consistently walk long distances
- Previous experience and knowledge of street cleansing operations
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
REMUNERATION.
$50 - $52 p/h + Superannuation
