ABOUT THE POSITION.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Client Side Project Manager looking to join a highly regarded consultancy and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of exciting projects across Sydney. In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle, providing strategic advice and leadership across design, procurement, construction, and delivery phases. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully from inception through to completion. As a Client Side Project Manager, you will play a key role in representing the client’s interests, managing project risk, driving project outcomes, and delivering tailored solutions across a variety of sectors.
DUTIES.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of client-side projects from concept through to completion
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Lead design management, consultant coordination, and project reporting
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and risk registers
- Provide strategic advice on procurement strategies, project delivery, and commercial outcomes
- Manage tender processes, contract negotiations, and contractor performance
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and key milestones
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to clients
- Ensure successful project handover and completion
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE .
- 5+ years’ experience in client-side project management, development management, or consultancy environments
- Proven experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
- Strong understanding of design management, procurement, and construction methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, and project stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Property, or a related discipline
