With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are looking to strengthen their Canberra team with an experienced Project Manager who wants to take ownership of projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
THE ROLE.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Client-Side Project Manager to join the Canberra team, managing projects from early planning and procurement through to delivery and handover.
You will work closely with government clients, consultants and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered in line with client objectives, budgets and programmes.
DUTIES.
- Manage client-side projects from feasibility and planning through to delivery and handover.
- Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and government stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets, programmes, procurement, risks and variations.
- Represent the client's interests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, quality and commercial performance.
- Prepare project reports and provide updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and resolve delivery challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
- Exposure to a diverse portfolio of government and private-sector projects.

- Demonstrated experience managing projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience working across government, Defence, infrastructure, health, education or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of project budgets, programmes, procurement and risk management.
- Proven ability to coordinate consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
