In this role, you will work closely with the public and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery, contribute to animal welfare, and maintain the overall presentation and operation of the facility. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about animals, confident in a regulatory setting, and keen to make a meaningful impact within the community.
DUTIES.
- Respond to daily call-outs to enforce animal control regulations
- Investigate and collect information regarding animal-related complaints
- Unload, impound, and process animals received from rangers and members of the public
- Attend sites to address stray or nuisance animals and take appropriate action, including managing dog attack incidents
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A demonstrated high level of experience in animal control or as a Council Ranger/Parking Officer
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Strong public interaction and conflict resolution
REMUNERATION.
$42 - $44 p/h + Superannuation
