ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, and design teams to deliver multiple projects from design through to completion. You will manage fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects, coordinate subcontractors, manage procurement, and ensure projects stay on time and budget, all while maintaining excellent client relationships.

DUTIES.
  • Coordinate services across multiple projects, ensuring smooth communication between site teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Manage variations and change orders efficiently, maintaining accurate records and approvals
  • Oversee procurement processes, supplier relationships, and cost control to ensure projects stay on budget
  • Develop and maintain project programming and schedules, monitoring timelines and milestones
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
  • Support Project Managers in contract administration, reporting, and project documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years in a Contracts Administrator role, preferably in commercial construction
  • Experience managing commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects valued $2M+
  • Tertiary qualification in a building-related discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong track record of stability and reliability with previous employers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project reporting
