ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll work alongside the Project Manager and play a key role in the seamless delivery of complex projects across Canberra. You’ll work closely with both site and project teams to deliver a range of projects spanning multiple sectors from design through to completion. With strong leadership committed to career growth, you’ll benefit from tailored training and development designed to accelerate your progression swiftly to a Junior PM position.
DUTIES.
- Prepare, submit, and manage client progress claims
- Support the Project Manager in preparing project reports and presentations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and key stakeholders
- Oversee project close-out, including financial reconciliation and defect management
- Monitor and forecast project financials, including cash flow management and cost reporting
- Proven experience in a Contracts Administrator/Project Coordinator role or similar
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project teams
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in a building-related discipline preferable
- Demonstrated reliability and a consistent track record with previous employers
