ABOUT THE COMPANY

This company operates on a national scale, with offices and projects delivered nationwide. Known for their high-quality commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects valued up to $10M, and also growing their new build portfolio, they are highly reputable in the industry. This company has a strong pipeline of exciting upcoming projects in Canberra. They are now seeking an ambitious Contracts Administrator to assist the Project Team in delivering current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their ACT division.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Contracts Administrator, you will report to the Project Manager. You will work collaboratively with the site, design, and project teams to deliver multiple projects across the ACT, from the design stages through to completion. These projects range up to $10M. You will liaise with the client and the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard.

DUTIES
  • Handle all contractual variations or issues with diligence
  • Maintain project documents and assets
  • Monitor/track financial status
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and forecast financial goals
  • Prepare the documentation required for the procurement of subcontractors, including tenders, pricing, and the scope of work tender
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator
  • Solid local experience working as a Contracts Administrator on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Jobpac experience desirable 
  • Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building-related discipline
  • Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers
