ABOUT THE POSITION.
As Office Lead, you will be the face of the business in Canberra, taking ownership of the local office, its people and its client relationships. You will lead the delivery of building services projects across the ACT, while building the firm’s profile in the local market and identifying new opportunities for growth. This is an ideal role for an experienced engineer ready to step into a leadership position with real autonomy and the support of a national team behind them.
DUTIES.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Canberra office
- Oversee the delivery of building services projects, ensuring quality, budget and program targets are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, project managers and builders
- Drive business development and grow the firm’s presence in the Canberra market
- Prepare fee proposals and contribute to tenders
- Mentor and develop engineers within the local team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Extensive local experience in building services, ideally within workplace or commercial fitout projects
- Proven leadership experience and strong client relationships within the Canberra market
- Excellent communication and business development skills
