ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Environmental Consultant to join their Sydney-based team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the delivery of environmental assessments, monitoring, and compliance projects across a range of industries. You’ll work closely with senior consultants and clients to provide tailored, practical solutions that balance environmental obligations with project goals.
DUTIES.
- Conduct site inspections, environmental monitoring, and field assessments
- Prepare environmental reports involving contaminated lands phase 1 to 4 and remediation action plans
- Assist with regulatory approvals
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and contractors
- Collect and analyse environmental data (soil, water, air, etc.)
- Contribute to project management, proposal writing, and technical reviews
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in environmental consulting or a similar role
- Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Experience with contaminated land assessments (Phase 1/2/3/4)
