ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for complex environmental challenges. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects, undertaking contaminated land assessments, remediation planning, and environmental compliance, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams of Engineers, Scientists, and Project managers. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of projects that prioritise environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
DUTIES.
- Conduct Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations (PSI & DSI), develop Remediation Action Plans (RAP), and prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
- Perform environmental monitoring of landfills, soil gas, surface water, groundwater, and air quality.
- Liaise with EPA site auditors and councils to achieve project sign-off and plan approval.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and documentation for project approvals and compliance purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in environmental engineering, preferably within the contaminated lands sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full C Class driver’s license
