This company is looking for a highly ambitious Estimator to join their growing and dynamic team of likeminded professionals.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, contributing to the successful tendering and securing of projects. With comprehensive guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and development by ensuring the successful acquisition of key projects.
DUTIES
- Prepare tender submissions
- Estimating projects
- Cost Planning
- Scope of works preparations
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Pre tender planning
- BOQ's
- Work with the team to plan programming
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in estimating role within the construction space
- Background in commercial fit-out projects is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
