ABOUT THE POSITION
Working within a strong preconstruction team, you will take genuine ownership of end to end estimating across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. Depending on your background, you may find yourself across fitout and refurbishment work, new build, or a mix of both. From pre tender planning through to final submission, your work will directly shape which projects this business wins. Whether you are two years into your estimating career or bringing senior level experience to the table, there is real scope here to operate at a level that suits you and grow beyond it.
DUTIES
- Prepare and submit competitive tender packages
- End to end project estimating
- Cost planning
- Scope of works preparation
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Pre tender planning
- Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate with the team on programming
- Minimum 2 years experience in an estimating role within the construction industry
- Background in commercial fitout, refurbishment or new build preferred
- Strong analytical ability and sharp attention to detail
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
