ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Built on long standing client relationships and a consistent pipeline of exciting work, this is a business that continues to grow and they are looking for an ambitious Estimator to grow with them. It is a well known and multiple award winning company that prides itself on great quality projects and providing a working environment that employees enjoy. This company now has a need for an Estimator to assist with securing projects in the ACT region and it's surrounds. They work on boutique projects valued up to $35M. 

ABOUT THE ROLE.

Your position will report directly to the senior leadership team and will see you liaising with a tight-knit and supportive team. You will be responsible for all end to end Estimating on projects, and will be assisting the company with successful tendering and securing of projects. This position will see you manage and liaise with all stakeholders, and will leverage on your existing contacts and relationships with local subcontractors etc. 

DUTIES.
  • Prepare tender submissions
  • Estimating projects
  • Cost Planning
  • Scope of works preparations
  • Subcontractor negotiations
  • Pre tender planning
  • Bill of Quantities
  • Work with the team to plan programming
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating role within the construction space 
  • Background in commercial projects is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
