ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Based in Western Sydney, work for your Local Council as an Executive Support Officer to the Office of the General Manager. Your superior executive support and administrative skills will determine the smooth operations of your team and relevant stakeholders.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A 3-month opportunity for a start next week. You will bring previous Executive Support experience in a complex & dynamic environment and have demonstrated expertise within C-Suite stakeholder engagement. A strong track record of handling sensitive/confidential information is a must, and your problem-solving skills will be crucial for the success in your role. Due to the nature of the role, you will be based in the office full-time.
DUTIES.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the EA to the GM, GM, Executive & Management Teams
- Assist in the management of the GM's meetings, appointments, travel arrangements & competing priorities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and assist in the preparation of letters, agendas, minutes & more
- Act as the key point of contact for internal/external stakeholders
- Oversee efficient operation of the GM's office, including managing systems, workflows and records, handling sensitive information with confidentiality
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous Executive Support experience for a senior executive
- Exceptional multi-tasking, problem-solving, leadership, change management, administrative and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders - including Directors, the Mayor, Councillors, Members of Parliament and government departments
- Understanding and/or experience with Government (highly regarded)
REMUNERATION.
- $45 - $52 p/h + Superannuation
