Based in the heart of North Sydney, this firm specialises in complex lightweight façades, curtain walls, and structural systems across concrete, steel, and timber, with expertise extending to building and seismic design, with projects covering residential, educational, commercial, retail fit outs and other specialised projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a Façade Drafter to join their façade engineering team. The role involves drafting aluminium and glass façade systems, including windows, shopfronts, curtain walls and cladding. The successful candidate will contribute to complex projects across residential, education, commercial, and retail developments.
DUTIES.
- Produce accurate 3D drawings and fabrication details using AutoCAD
- Draft aluminium and glass façade systems, including windows, shopfronts, curtain walls and cladding
- Work with architects, builders, and engineers to align with project specifications
- Support design and documentation of bespoke, architecturally driven projects
- Attend project meetings
- Ensure code compliance and buildability reviews
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in drafting, or related fields.
- Proven experience in façade drafting.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency on Revit or BIM will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
