ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Facade Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of building facades through expert weatherproofing assessments and detailed report writing. This position offers an opportunity to apply your engineering expertise to enhance building performance and client satisfaction through precise weatherproofing solutions and comprehensive documentation.
DUTIES.
- Conduct detailed assessments of building facades to identify potential weatherproofing issues
- Develop comprehensive technical reports documenting findings, analyses, and recommendations for facade systems, focusing on weatherproofing aspects.
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to integrate weatherproofing solutions into building designs.
- Perform on-site evaluations to assess the condition of existing facade systems and identify areas requiring remediation or enhancement.
- Ensure that all weatherproofing measures meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on weatherproofing solutions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in facade engineering, with a focus on weatherproofing and report writing.
- Proficiency in structural analysis tools, and facade design software.
- Strong understanding of facade materials, thermal performance, and weatherproofing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing detailed technical reports.
- Ability to address complex engineering challenges with innovative solutions.
