My client is a well established Civil Contractor that has seen impressive growth over the last 18 months. They specialise in delivering complex projects for both private and public sector clients, typically valued between $20m and $30m. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they’ve created a new permanent role to manage the increased workload.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
The company is looking for an experienced Foreman to manage daily operations on-site. You’ll report directly to the Project Manager and be responsible for ensuring safety standards are met, maintaining quality control, and helping deliver projects on time.
DUTIES.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing and directing subcontractors on-site
- Ensuring safety standards are followed
- Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Keeping the project on track to meet deadlines
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in roadwork projects of a similar size
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and construction processes
- Ability to manage subcontractor performance and ensure they stay on track
- Experience in managing projects from start to finish
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
