My client is a well-established civil contractor that has experienced impressive growth over the last 18 months. They specialise in delivering complex projects for both private and public sector clients, typically valued between $20 million and $30 million. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they’ve created a new permanent role to manage the increased workload.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
The company is looking for an experienced Foreman to manage daily operations on site. You’ll report directly to the Project Manager and be responsible for ensuring safety standards are met, maintaining quality control, and helping deliver projects on time.
DUTIES.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing and directing subcontractors on site
- Ensuring safety standards are followed
- Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Keeping the project on track to meet deadlines
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in subdivision projects of a similar size
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and construction processes
- Ability to manage subcontractor performance and ensure they stay on track
- Experience managing projects from start to finish
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
