A newly created Foreman role has become available with a well-established subdivision contractor based in Newcastle. The company delivers residential and industrial subdivision projects, including bulk and detailed earthworks, road construction and associated civil works, typically valued over $10m. ABOUT THE POSITION.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of subdivision projects across Newcastle and surrounding region. You will manage the day to day operations, supervise subcontractors and lead Engineers and site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the program.
DUTIES.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing site safety and compliance
- Ensuring all works are carried out to specification
- Running daily pre-starts
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
- Leading site teams to maintain productivity
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience delivering subdivision projects
- Ability to manage projects to budget and on time
- Experience delivering projects from start to finish
- The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
