ABOUT THE POSITION.
This company is looking for a highly skilled Forensic Engineer to manage complex projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the insurance team and provide expert advice on structural failures, and prepare detailed reports for strata managers, insurers, clients, and legal representatives. The position focuses on driving high-quality outcomes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting professional growth within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
DUITES.
- Conduct site inspections to assess structural conditions
- Prepare damage assessment and causations reports
- Investigate building defects and structural issues
- Collaborate with clients, insurance teams and other stakeholders
- Support the development of remedial design solutions
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in forensic engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian codes
- Experience managing high-end residential projects
- Ability to handle multiple projects and to work independently
