ABOUT THE POSITION.
You will play a crucial role as a Geotechnical Engineer, to support the project team through your consulting advice to ensure effective and safe engineering solutions. You will be responsible for modelling, designing, analysing soil, managing groundwater issues, compliance with work health and safety requirements, and addressing slope stability hazards. Your skills and experience will help shape the future of your team and the business.
DUTIES.
- Site and ground investigations
- Manage subcontractors including drilling rigs, CPT Rigs, etc
- Engage with technical report writing
- Prepare proposals by scoping investigations
- Use of PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio, and Rocscience to analyse projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar relevant field.
- Previous local experience in the geotechnical consultancy
- Proficient in PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio and Rocscience
- Full Australian driver license
- Ability to undertake site work
