ABOUT THE POSITION.
My client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join a highly experienced and collaborative team. In this role, you will be involved in delivering a diverse range of geotechnical projects, working closely with clients, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve practical and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include project planning, site investigations, design, and monitoring activities, with the opportunity to further develop your technical skills in a supportive environment. DUTIES .
- Conduct site investigations, analyse data, and prepare factual and interpretive reports
- Manage geotechnical reports from concept to completion
- Design foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and other geotechnical elements to Australian standards
- Oversee construction-phase activities, including earthworks monitoring and contractor guidance
- Maintain strong client, relationships, and ensure technical accuracy
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar field.
- Proficiency in Geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, gINT, SLOPE/W, Slide or similar software
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and project teams
- Sound understanding and familiarity with relevant standards and codes
