ABOUT THE POSITION. 

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering practical and innovative geotechnical solutions across a broad portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and environmental developments. You will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from site investigations and design through to construction and post-construction, ensuring safe, stable, and sustainable outcomes.


DUTIES.
  • Undertake field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, in-situ testing, and site assessments
  • Analyse and interpret geotechnical data to assess ground conditions and inform design outcomes
  • Prepare geotechnical designs for foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks
  • Produce high-quality technical reports, recommendations, and documentation
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert technical advice
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, industry best practice, and environmental regulations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. 
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly within the Australian market
  • Proficiency with geotechnical software such as gINT, Plaxis, Rocscience, GeoStudio, WALLAP, or OpenGround
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess complex geotechnical challenges and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions
