This Local Council based in Western Sydney is seeking an ambitious Graphic Designer to become a valued member of their dynamic team and play a key role in delivering the Visual DCP project. ABOUT THE POSITION.
Initial of 6 month contract, you will be reporting to the Team Leader. Your primary focus will be to work closely with Council’s strategic planners and urban designers to prepare documents, diagrams, and 3D models, while also setting style, format, and digital requirements for a public-facing platform.
DUTIES.
- Contribute to updates of the DCP and planning policies using layouts, maps, and 3D models
- Create high-quality, accessible graphics and documents
- Collaborate and liaise with planners and internal teams on key projects
- Support delivery of master plans and other urban design initiatives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or related
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Working knowledge using Giraffe, Sketchup, AutoCAD, ArcGIS and/or equivalent, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team when required
