ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our Client based on the Upper North Shore, Sydney, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with local government experience to play a key role in policy development, review, and broader people initiatives within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Temporary initial 3-month role. This is a hands-on advisory role focused primarily on reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance and best practice. Working closely with leaders and key stakeholders across Council, you will provide practical HR advice while supporting a range of strategic People & Culture initiatives.
DUTIES.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures
- Provide HR advice to managers and employees
- Support employee relations and case management
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and Awards
- Partner with stakeholders across Council
- Contribute to People & Culture projects and initiatives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- Local Government experience highly desirable
- Experience reviewing HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of employment legislation and IR
- Strong written and communication skills
REMUNERATIONs & BENEFITS.
- $60-$70 p/h + Super
