ABOUT THE POSITION
Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you'll take real ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, from early cost planning right through to tender submission. This is a hands-on role where your work directly influences which projects the business wins. You'll be well supported and well guided, but equally trusted to contribute meaningfully from day one.
DUTIES
- Prepare and submit competitive tender packages
- End-to-end project estimating
- Cost planning
- Scope of works preparation
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Pre-tender planning
- Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate with the team on programming
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an estimating role within the construction industry
- Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment is preferred
- Strong analytical ability and sharp attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred)
