ABOUT THE POSITION
Working directly alongside the Estimating Manager, you will take full ownership of the estimating process across a varied portfolio of commercial projects. From initial cost planning through to lodging competitive tender submissions, your contributions will have a direct impact on the projects this business secures. You will be trusted to bring your expertise from day one, with the support and structure around you to keep growing.
DUTIES
- Prepare and submit competitive tender packages
- End to end project estimating
- Cost planning
- Scope of works preparation
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Pre-tender planning
- Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate with the team on programming
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an estimating role within the construction industry
- Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment preferred
- Strong analytical ability and keen attention to detail
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
