With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering high-quality, detail-focused interiors, they are looking for a motivated Junior Estimator or Intermediate Estimator to join their growing team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Estimator, you will work closely with senior estimators and project teams to prepare accurate tenders and cost breakdowns. You will assist in pricing, supplier negotiations, and budget forecasting, developing the skills needed to grow into a senior estimating role. You will have supported opportunity to lead/manage your own tenders within a Pre-construction team of collaborative and supportive high achievers.
DUTIES
- Assist in preparing tenders, take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Review supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive proposals.
- Work with senior estimators to develop budgets and cost breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate project cost records and assist in bid presentations.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure project success.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in estimating or a relevant construction role.
- Background in commercial fit-out projects preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
