Join a local council located in the North Shore as a Junior Project Manager. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Junior Project Manager, you will develop a high level of professional and technical support in delivering Councils WSIG program, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders, manage the delivery of projects including initiation, development, construction, contracts supervision and administration to the agreed time, cost and quality.
DUTIES.
- Procure contracts and consultants within the designated budget and timeframe
- Develop project briefs, specifications and tender document
- Liaise with stakeholders to effectively deliver projects on time in accordance to contracts management
- Prepare scope of works throughout all concepts
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Construction and/or Engineering is required
- Experience within procurement and project delivery
- Building, Open Space, Public Domain and Recreational project exposure is highly desirable
- Driven and adaptable individual who is eager to learn and develop new skills
