This Local Council in Sydney eagerly seeks an enthusiastic Landscape Architect to become a valued member of their dynamic team. ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Landscape Architect, you'll embark on an exciting journey with an initial 6 month contract and will be reporting to the Coordinator. Your primary focus will be to release your creative expertise in landscape design and documentation to elevate Council's annual upgrade of walking tracks, fitness stations, parks, and playground projects. You will hold a key role in bringing to life various landscape and related projects and programs outlined in Council's visionary Delivery Program and Operational Plan.


DUTIES.
  • Designing public open spaces and playgrounds
  • Cost estimation and contract management
  • Accurate documentation through AutoCAD
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders 
 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or related 
  • Working knowledge using Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Excellent technical understanding of design and construction
  • Strong knowledge of Local Government legislation and policies
