ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join our Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Your team is responsible for the efficient delivery of cleansing services to the Local Government Area. Your role reports into the Cleansing Team Leader.
Please be advised that you will be expected to commit to a rotating roster based on operational needs. Due to the nature of this position and required hours, we can only consider candidates with a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Manual MR License is highly desirable.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
An initial 3-month contract. Your role as a Leading Hand requires your flexibility to act as an All-Rounder for the team. You will lead and coordinate cleansing operations, including the managing customer requests, reactive maintenance and cleansing work. You will also assist the Supervisor with work orders, timesheets, rosters and operational reporting.
All successful candidates will undergo a National Police Check & Medical Check.
DUTIES.
- Work Arrangement: Wednesday to Sunday between 11:30am to 9:00PM
- Supervise field staff, allocating daily tasks and monitoring work quality
- Assist the team in hands-on street cleansing responsibilities
- Operating Council trucks, blowers, pressure washing equipment and other plant as required
- Coordinate customer requests, reactive maintenance and cleansing work orders
- Customer service to the members of the community
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Council experience and proficiency with TechOne is highly regarded
- Leading Hand experience is highly regarded
- Manual MR License
- Fitness capability to consistently walk long distances
- Previous experience in street cleansing operations
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
REMUNERATION.
$45 p/h + Superannuation
