This reputable Local Council is located on the Lower North Shore of Sydney with easy access via public transport. Sitting under the Community Directorate, you will work in a team of dedicated Marketing & Communications professionals to plan and deliver on marketing campaigns to drive participation, visitation and revenue across Council services.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 6 month contract with potential for extensions. You will bring extensive marketing experience, including the effective development of strategies, campaign & media planning, and performance optimisation. Your primary focus will be the end-to-end launching of Council's Leisure Centre, from strategy to delivery stages.

DUTIES.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies/campaign plans for Councils services, facilities and events
- Plan and deliver a launch campaign, including audience segmentation, media planning, creative development, digital optimisation, membership pre-sales and partnership promotion
- Project manage the delivery of all marketing materials in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop a clear, high-level go-to-market plan across the three phases of: pre-opening, opening and post-launch of the Leisure Centre
- Set clear KPI's and reporting - campaign performance, conversions, membership uptakes, attendance and ROI
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Experience in Local Council or the Public Sector
- Qualifications in Marketing or significant equivalent experience
- Ability to define success metrics and report on performance
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels
- Proactivity - you will be leading and project managing
