ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join an established Building Services team and play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical services across a varied project portfolio. You will be supported by experienced engineers who are invested in your development and your responsibility will grow as your capability does. This role is suited to an engineer with solid technical foundations, clear communication and a pro-active approach to project delivery. 

DUTIES.
  • Design mechanical services across a diverse range of projects
  • Carry out heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing and equipment selections
  • Prepare drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors and other disciplines to resolve design issues
  • Ensure designs comply with the relevant Australian Standards and project requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Good working knowledge of Australian codes and standards
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A curious, proactive approach and a willingness to learn
