ABOUT THE COMPANY.

A reputable Local Council is looking for a proactive and motivated Parking Station Attendant to oversee the day-to-day operations of its parking facilities, ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service.


ABOUT THE POSITION.
    
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the parking station, including facilitating customer payments, monitoring CCTV, assisting with transactions, and identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies, while ensuring all customers comply with the Council’s parking conditions.


DUTIES.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and respond to enquiries and issues in a professional manner
  • Operate and monitor parking station systems, including CCTV, payment machines, and boom gates
  • Facilitate customer payments and accurately process transactions, identifying and reporting discrepancies
  • Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and overall condition of the parking station while ensuring compliance with Council parking regulations
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence is required
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Ability to learn and take on constructive feedback
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service, along with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn. This role operates on a rotating roster, with the opportunity to work up to 38 hours per week when additional shifts are available:

Week A
Monday: 11:15am – 6:30pm (7 hours 15 mins, including 30min break)
Friday: 9:00am – 7:30pm (10h 30mins, including 30min break)
  
Week B
Monday: 1:00pm – 11:00pm (10 hours, including 30min break)
Wednesday: 1:00pm – 11:00pm (10 hours, including 30min break)
