A Sydney Local Council is seeking a ambitious parking officer to play a pivotal role in parking enforcement activities and record-keeping. You will report to the Team Leader and work within a highly supportive and collaborative team.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a parking officer you will actively undertake the business functions associated with parking enforcement activities, record keeping, preparation of evidence, representing Council at legal proceedings and liaising with the community, team members and Council staff.
DUTIES.
- Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
- Ensure vehicular turnover of parking spaces
- Provide excellent customer service to the public
- Report other non-related parking matters to Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A Class C Driver's Licence
- Police Check
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
- Ability to walk up to 15K steps a day
The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a strong passion for providing good customer service, demonstrating eagerness to learn, determination to work hard, and a vision for long-term commitment to this industry. In this role, you will be working on a rotating roster (Monday - Sunday) with hours between 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
